J.D. Vance Speaks at the Paris AI Summit
J.D. Vance spoke at the Paris AI Summit last month. He had many big and leading ideas about AI. He has very big goals for the country and has many great ideas to do for the U.S. He has spoken in public many times with very strong and leading ideas while holding a great tenacity to them.
One idea that was big was in 2016 during a TED Talk. He wanted to make sure no kid had to go through a rough childhood. He went through a rough childhood himself, but thankfully it got better. He then became a successful person after and looked back and thought that no other child should go through what he did. A reason why this happened was because he was lucky enough to get a better childhood after having a bad one and knew the difference between a bad and a good one.
Another big idea he has right now is using AI. He wants to use it to human advantage in a good instead of a bad way. Instead of focusing on how AI can take over the world, he sees how it can help humans with difficult-to-fix problems. For his first foreign trip since taking office, he spoke with confidence at the Paris AI Summit and made sure he was leading. The biggest thing he said was to warn CEO and leaders of tech that excessive regulation would kill the fast-growing AI industry. Another idea sparked by J.D. Vance convincing people to not work with China while internationally collaborating on AI development.
Overall J.D. Vance acts in a very strong and leading way. He is not scared and afraid to take charge of something. He has big intentions with AI and looks at it from a different point of view than most people. He looks on the bright side of AI and not on the bad side.
I think AI will become a great thing in the future since it is already very helpful right now and in a few years, I think we can expand the world's knowledge a lot quicker, making the world more efficient. On the downside, it is very possible but a low chance that AI will be used for bad things and not how I intend it to be used.
