Five Nights at Freddy's is Very Good

Do you like video games? If so, then this movie is for you because it is based off of a video game called FNAF or also known as Five Nights at Freddy's (har har har).

The movie starts off with Mike getting a job at Freddy Fazbears. He gets haunted a lot and his sister, Abby, is not talking to anyone. The babysitter trashes the place and the babysitter's group of people and friends die. Then Mike cleans up the place and sees the animatronics for the first time. After the babysitter dies, he makes Abby go to work with him. The sister was supposed to sleep but did not and instead looked at the animatronics. She makes friends with them and then they make friends with Mike, but he is not trusting them that much. Then this security guard comes named Vanessa who tells Mike to quit. She ends up helping Abby and playing with the animatronics.

After a while of this, Chica, one of the robots, tries to put Abby into a machine to kill her and turn her into an animatronic. Mike comes in and tazes her and they get out and run away from everyone. The leader who is in a suit ends up trash-talking everyone, but then has a springlock failure and then dies. The end.

What I liked most about Five Nights at Freddy’s was the background information and the animatronics. It was really cool to watch them in action and to see how the actors acted from their reactions.

What I did not like about it is that I thought that the little brother was not as important and they do not need that much of the flashbacks. I'm not mad about this. Also, there was not as much scariness since it was PG-13, but I don't really care if it is scary or not.

I think that they could have improved the movie by removing MOST OF THE LITTLE BROTHER. The little brother was pretty boring to me especially after a cliffhanger and just ruins the moment.

I think a sequel would be the second FNAF game. The second game was more fun to play and you had more to worry about. I think Mike or a different character would play the role of this.

Some themes of the movie were where there is bad there is good. This happened when Mike's sister wasn't talking to anybody and was going to get adopted. But then after going to Freddy Fazbear’s (HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR) she started to talk to people and was not put up for adoption.

Mike changed by knowing how to be a better parent to his little sister and helping her improve.

The movie did not surprise me in any way since I had background information in the game. I thought the visual style was very cool. The animatronics were cool by acting out with their eyes and obviously Freddy Fazbear is cool (har har har har).

My personal takeaway is that this movie made my favorite catchphrase: har har har.

  1. I like this post a lot. It makes me want to watch the movie, but I'm not sure what "har har har" means. Not yet at least!
