Beginner's Guide to Hypixel Skyblock

On Minecraft there is a game called Hypixel Skyblock. Hypixel is a server and it has been the most popular server in all of Minecraft for a long time now. It has fun mini games and it is great to play. 

The most recent that Hypixel added to its server is a game called Skyblock, which people played on other servers for a long time. Hypixel added it to their server and it’s different than normal Skyblock because you can enter different dimensions in Hypixel’s game.

Skyblock is now the most popular game on Hypixel right now. In this blog, I will show you what commands you need to know, the beginning strategy, what to grind for, and goals in the game.

You are now entering a whole other realm of Minecraft.

Commands

Before you join skyblock, there are some commands that you need to know. The first is “/visit portalhub.” This is the best command ever because you can travel anywhere really quickly.

Another command is “/bz” which is bazaar, which you will use later in the game. Another one is “/is” which teleports you to your island. The last one is “/hub” which makes you go to the hub island which the main one.

Beginning Strategy

When you start skyblock, there are some beginner tricks to do. The first thing to do is to start bridging and making a wooden pickaxe. DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE THAT. You’re not going to be able to progress if you don’t make a pickaxe.

Once you finish bridging you go through the portal. After that, you need to talk to Jamie who is the only villager you need to talk to. Then you need to go to the coal mine and mine stone and coal. After that craft a stone pickaxe and nothing else.

Once you reach mining level one, you first need to go to the gold mine.At the gold mine, you must get gold and iron and find the persons pickaxe that he lost. Then you make iron armor and tools, except for the sword. Then, keep mining iron and gold. Once you have a lot of it, then sell it to any merchant. I recommend the farm merchant because it is the easist to find. 

Then sell the iron and gold and then buy the undead sword. Then get 10 coal and reforge it first. Once you do that, unlock mining level 5 and then go to the deep caverns. First find the person that uses an elevator and talk to him. Then find your way down all the way to the bottom.

Now, after you’ve completed all of these steps, you’re ready for the grinding stage.

Grinding Strategy

Once you go to the deep caverns, get lapis amor from killing the blue zombies. It takes a very long time to get that Lapis Armor. Once you get it you need to enchant it with growth and protection, and get the max on both of those.

On the sword get sharp first strike and fire aspect. Now with that armor and weapons, go back to the bottom and kill the diamond zombies. Keep killing them until you get full miner amor. Then enchant with protection and growth. Then start getting your combat level up first get to 12. That is what you should be grinding first in the game. Then when you get that you should have unlocked the end.

In the middle of your grind you should have some money-making minions for money. First thing in the end is to not kill the Endermin or go down the stair case. TRUST ME. With your pickaxe mine the glowing blocks so they give you rewards. Sometimes they do spawn Endermites. Its okay. If you spawn just don’t kill them instead either run or juke them off a cliff to kill them.

Once you mine the blocks, you can sell them for money and buy items from the auction. Once that happens, get the Aspect of the End (AOT) from it. 

The AOT is the best beginning item because it teleports you and you can one-shot Endermen with 4500 health when fully enchanted. Now when you get it, try to get the one with all enchantments. Once you do that, go to the ends and kill the Endermen. Keep killing them until you get full Ender Armor. Then enchant it with the best enchantments.

Then you should be able to one-shot or two-shot Endermen. After that grind for full wise, strong, protector Dragon Armor. The choice is yours to choose what armor you want. Once you do that, grind for combat level 16 to unlock dungeons. Congrats, now you are no longer beginner in skyblock!

Goals

The goal in skyblock is to get as stacked as possible. This takes like 10,00000 hours to get. The goal is to get max levels in everything so you can unlock every item. Once you get stacked, you can restart all of skyblock and start over. This is good so you could have more fun in skyblock. The most fun in skyblock is the end and beginning. Skyblock is a competitive game that is fun because nothing bad can happen if you are no longer the top player. This it really fun to race for an item against your friends. 

Overall, Skyblock is a fun, long, and grindy game. I hope after reading this you can get started with game and get stacked easily. Now you can flex to your friends about playing this game and they don’t even know how to get started.
