The Best Chips in 2023

There are a lot of chips in the world such as Doritos and Cheetos. I hate some and I like some. So I made a tier list of all of the chips I want to write about and I wrote about them.

The lowest is the F Tier and the highest is the S tier (see photo above). I made a cheese section, spicy part, other, worst picks, and the best chip in the world.

I hope you enjoy many of these chips.

Cheesy Chips

For the cheesy chips, the best was extra cheddar goldfish because its flavor is super good and it expresses the cheesiness and it is not too cheesy. For second place, it’s a two-way tie between original Goldfish and Cheeto puffs. Original Goldfish are a rip off of extra cheddar goldfish, except the only thing about them that is good is their saltiness.

Cheeto puffs are next and are good, but not as good as others. The main thing about all Cheetos is that the Cheeto dust gets on your hands and it’s the worst feeling possible.

Next is plain Cheez-Its. The best thing about them is that they are really easy to hold (they have ridges on them) and your fingers don’t get dirty. Their saltiness is also very good.

Last place is a two way tie again between Cheetos and Cheez-Its white cheddar. Original Cheetos are the worst Cheeto ever because they taste like a normal cheese chip and they get all over your fingers. These chips are not worth eating if they just get your hands dirty. Cheez-Its White Cheddar are the same exact thing as Cheetos because they're just not worth eating if they just get on your fingers.

Spicy Chips        

There are three types of chips that are spicy on my list. First up: Flamin Hot Cheetos. These chips are great in the first 2 bites. But when you have your third chip, the spice does not taste good at all because it overtakes the flavor. I don’t want just spice. I want chips and spicy food.

Next is Takis, which are great because they are not too spicy at all and it's a good spicy dish when you eat them, not like the one chip challenge. They are also not hollow which makes them taste like a chip. They’re good spicy compared to Flaming Hot Cheetos.

Lastly, there are Doritos Spicy Chili. This is the best Dorito flavor ever made.They are way less spicy so they give you a better feeling in your mouth.

Other Chips

There are some chips that don’t really have a category so there is this extra one. Cape Cod chips are very original and the best normal potato chips. The one thing bad about salty chip like Cape Cod chips is that their shape matters a lot and ever chip is shaped differently. I had a chip that was ice cream cone-shaped and in the bottom part was way too much salt.

Next up is Flavor Blasted Pizza Goldfish. This chip is very good in the flavor because it is not too much pizza, but just the right amount and with goldfish it tastes really good.

Next up is Pringles Pizza chips. This chip is the same thing as pizza goldfish, but the pizza seasoning does not taste as good as the pizza golflish seasoning.

Next up is Chex mix. These are the second best chips ever because they have a lot of variety in the bag. Also their saltiness is very good because it brings that flavor to the chips.

Worst Picks

The two worst picks I have are Veggie Straws and Pringles and Sour Cream and Onion flavor. Veggie Straws are bad because they are way too salty and try to be healthy, but they did not achieve that goal. Also they say that they have flavor, but they are too salty.

Next is Pringles Sour Cream and Onion. Anything that is this flavor is just disgusting because this flavor was invented because they ran out of flavors to make. Second, who likes sour cream and onions? They just don’t go well together because those foods are only for other types of foods like chili. 

The Best Chip

Finally, the best chip is Funions. This is the best chip of all time because it is really crispy and not too salty. It has the same ratio of every ingredient in each chip. It is also not a scam because they don’t overinflate the bag with nitrogen. Also the chips are not all crumpled up because they don’t break in the bag when shipping. This is why Funion are the best chip.

Overall I think these are some of the most common chips. I hope you try some of these, mostly the ones ranked S through B on my list.
